About Pinetree

Pinetree Institute is a Center for Arts and Human Development based at Pinetree Farm in Eliot, Maine. A particular emphasis of Pinetree initiatives is on issues related to sustainable living and how the arts can play a role in personal and social development that leads to meaningful lives that support and protect our environment.

Pinetree Institute sponsors workshops, seminars and arts performances that explore these themes of the integration of the arts into personal and social development and the relationship to sustainable living.

Care for the Caregivers: Building Resilience for Healthcare Professionals

Join James Huddleston and Heidi Johnson for 2 days of workshop and retreat at Pinetree Institute in scenic Eliot, Maine. Grounded in the principles of mind/body medicine, the workshop trains healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, counselors and social workers in self-awareness and self-care strategies to reduce stress while strengthening professional skills.
